Anyway, I'll forgive you for attacking your ex...
They probably deserved it.

Anyway, yesterday I hosed my Gentoo system due to me being a complete moron. That resulted in me having to do an incredibly boring 3h reinstall of it just to get a boot loader in place. Because of this, I'm going to try out Ubuntu. Gentoo is really nice, but it takes forever to install (you do EVERYTHING youself, nothing is automated). Getting from scratch to a complete desktop takes at least 12h. Usually more...

Wow.... I had a great great day today. Untill now.
School was abnormally fun, had a long break which i spent driving around town with a friend of mine, acting like complete idiots.
After school, I met a gurlfriend of mine (we're just friends), and we were hanging out and having fun. Then we decided to say goodbye to a pal of ours, who's going to Ireland on Paul Newman camp for sick kids. So we went to the west side of the city, but we live in the east.
So we were hanging out at his place all the evening, having great time, everything was just awesome. Then we realized we had to run to catch the last bus home.
So, we started running. And I fell over some stupid plastic thing that some kid that does news-paper round in the neighbourhood left on the sidewalk. So I fell on my face.
Now it's bleeding on my face, one knee, both arms and on my hip. And the right elbow feels like someone's constantly hitting the funnybone with a hammer.
So we lost the last bus. We had to walk for a loooooooong time. I got home, my parents crazy about me being late on a school-night. I realized that I can't close the wounds because i only have normal band-aids, which would just get stuck to it and hurt even more, and all pharmacies are closed.
So right now I'm waiting for the blood to dry up, so I can go to sleep. I still haven't done my homework, since I didn't expect I'd be out so late.
Boh.

Today, I got to be the official office "paper shredder" ...
We needed to get rid of old docs, and the lawyer I work for is too cheap to buy an actual shredder, so I got to rip thousands and thousands of sheets of paper into strips.
My hands are actually burned from doing so

doodoodoo!!!

DakaSha:if you go into a kindergarden and give all the kids rubber schlongs they will prob just hit each other over the head with them
DakaSha:and you have a class of little kids hitting eachother with rubber dongs which must be quite funny (also Picklweasel knight I am)

I'm sure that saying we're all whining helps a bunch

Personally, I think having your face ripped open by concrete, and working so much that your fingers are blistered are pretty severe occurances (concrete more so than paper-blistered fingers, honestly) ...

Anyhoo
Things like getting your face ripped open by concrete or getting paper blisters're pretty damn bad, but they'll heal over time, just like all physical wounds. I've walked around with blood blisters that came straight out of the medical books, and a huge blister on the sole of my foot that produced some thick, deepgreen puss, had to climb ropes with hands that've been burned from them, had lots of ripped open flesh due to various stuff (getting hit by a wooden beam, falling, walking against stuff and whatever else), had thorns and staples stuck in the flesh behind my nails, even had my ribs close in on my lungs, squeezing all the air out of them. It all's pretty annoying at the moment, but it'll heal after a few days.
Anyways, I'll shut up now, cause I'm whining too, and that's never solved anything

Had a crappy day at work yesterday with loads of people moaning they hadn't received documents and being surprised when I tell them not to expect them a few hours after they're printed. Gah! Game of squash today might help though, plus no more full time work. Back to uni scarily soon though.
