Guillaume had this to say about the issue of lives in the game, if anyone's interested:

Off the top of my head:
1) Do you think of this game as a puzzle game rather than an arcade game (like its predecessor Puzzle Bobble)? 2) The game still has a slightly experimental feel to it. Is it the final version or will there be further additions? 3) Supposing there will in fact be a later version, might it be possible to add a feature which allows you to have only a limited number of lives? --------------------  "Flippin' immigrants, stealin' our bandwidth etc. etc." - PrejudiceSucks |

Depends on your operating system - just click on the Review and Download link in the first post in this thread, then on the Download button on the bottom right, then you'll get a list of various files. The top ones are the source code if you want to compile it yourself, but further down are pre-compiled versions for various Linux OS's and then ports to various other systems - click on the one that corresponds to your OS and away you go. Exactly how to install it will depend on your system - the Windows ports are probably straightforward executables.
