I'm mormon and polygomy went out of our church waay long ago and it wasnt some kind of sex slave thing, it was more to take care of the wives of members who died. The FLDS is completly unrealated to our church and we don't share any of their beliefs. They think warren jeffs is god!!!

Potatoe, point being that Islam isnt the only one. I don't actually know what Koran says, but thinking of many historical references to harems in muslim societies, I don't think such rule has ever been very strict - if such rule ever existed.

A harem isn't the same as multiple wives - those sultans tended to have one sultana and a harem of concubines. Incidentally, aren't we a way off topic here?
