Since this has been bumped, I got Dungeon Siege 2 (with addon) on impulse in Game the other day, and it's rather neat - much better than the original, which I found a bit disappointing, quite Diablo 2-ish hack-and-slash, with some quite neat character development options. The quests are rather generic, though, but the environments are very nicely put together.

Can finally contribute something to this topic, whee. Well last week got my new pc, :D which replaces my old 6 year old pc, so been trying to get back into playing some of the older games I missed, and one of them that I picked up a couple of days ago would be Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Pretty coolies game thus far, like the whole idea of creating your own character, and making your own lightsaber and all that, can't wait till I can earn the dual ones. Hopefully I can track down the Jedi Knight before this one too, but still got plenty of time and lots of catching up to do. :)

Picked up a couple weeks back Hitman: Blood Money great game and really enjoyed the different sort of stealth pace for the game, some intriguing missions and just being able to do more context action sensitive things makes it pretty good, ending was a bit of a let down but hope to play some of the earlier titles like contracts and see how they are.

Got Dreamfall Collecters Edition yesterday.   ;)

It includes Longest Journey, Dreamfall (Longest Journey 2), soundtracktrack from Dreamfall, and an art book with sketches and drawings from Dreamfall.

They are both gorgeus adventure games, and to get the art book as well is just the icing on the cake.   :)

I bought the Special Edition box of Prince of Persia. All 3 latest episodes together for 10 euro's :)

Further I'm having a blast with the Chronicles of Riddick game. The movies sure suck. But the game is truly great.

You'll love Longest Journey, an awesome adventure game, I never did finish it, but I must once I get some time, cause its a very very long game.

Also do want to try Dreamfall, just to see what happens storywise, and an art book holy, talk about a sweet package.  :)

Escape From Butcher Bay? Yeah, that's a great game, and the graphics are incredible considering it looks nearly just as good as Oblivion but it was made two years before that title.

Supreme Commander. The scale is hugely impressive, the plot nonsensical (the ads appeal to you to "End the 1000-year Infinite War!" :)) - pretty much what I was expecting, really ;)

I'm loving The Longest Journey so far.  I love the story, and I love the characters, and I love all the details in it.   ;)

I don't know how far you got, but my theory is.....

Don't expect Dreamfall to be as good as The Longest Journey, the combat sucks and the story is boring.

Nice one. I'm going to get it pretty soon, after a new HD. Loved the original Total Annihilation (still got it installed, and I play it quite a bit, with the TAUCP) so it should be a good 'un.

If you can use two monitors on your PC definitely use that along with Supreme Commander, makes it twice as intense and much easier to handle, otherwise it's a somewhat unmanageable mess when you start out with it.

how demanding is SupCom? My computer has good processing power, but a realatively weak graphics card, so do you think if Oblivion with all the effects off  is the most my computer can handle, could it play SupCom?
