Yayyyy, "finally" got Bioshock.
Except I just figured out my graphics card is bleh (cept dled the mod to fix it, was minimum spec req and didn't have the right shading thing but mod fixed that) and the water / other parts of the game are just black and white...like just blank space, >>, but hopfully I'l fix it...edit : Ok never mind, Direct X is latest I can get w/o Vista, Card's drivers are the latest, game's settings are at its lowest, the mod worked and theres a pointer but still all the dumb white / blank space -_-, I need a new video card.

Update on Sam and Max: Wells through an odd concidence, I have managed to get Sam and Max working, except strangly it oddly only wants to run on my dvd/cd burner drive. I was running the game on my standard dvd drive, where it might launch once every 10 tries, but somehow it runs all the time on the other drive (yay) which seems odd, considering an older securom game or least I believe it may have run on securom Lego Star Wars 2, would refuse to run on my dvd/cd burner drive, only wanting to run on the dvd drive, weirdness but yay.
Opinions finally on the game, its fantastic all around. Telltale games did a lot of effort with the game, and the ideas of having a seperate adventure per episode actually works nicely as you are playing. While the experience may feel like there is not a lot of material, it gets better as you continue to play through the episodes. If your a fan of the old Sam and Max or just yurning for a commercial adventure game, definitely pick this up.

Just recieved (using 'bought' loosely - they didn't cost me anything):
Myth: The Fallen Lords
SimCity 3000: World Edition
MS Flight Simulator 2002
Black and White
Blade Runner
Hitman, Codename 47
Ground Control
Escape from Monkey Island
Icewind Dale
@Sean: Excellent games indeed
Mafia is glorious. I Replay it every year around the holidays. And Age of Empires never got better after the first one.
Black and White is also good enough, and something 'different' for a change. It does tend to get a bit boring.

Mafia is damn sweet, but I played it to about 90% of the story when I rented it on Xbox. Playing through this time is a little slower, and harder without a pad.. but it's great game
The original hitman has aged suprisingly well, still have a copy somewhere.. as for th e others.. I be ignorant, the n00bz.

Weren't the console versions a lot poorer then the pc one? I've never played the console versions myself, but with the recent announcement of Mafia 2 a lot of such sentiments surfaced everywhere
They were so so from what I hear too, the pc version is the way to go, always prefer mouse control to pad control, especially in a 3rd person shooter like this one, but Mafia is indeed superb, hugely underrated and a shame didn't get more exposure, and I can't wait to play Mafia 2, hoping its also as awesome as the first.

Mafia is a pc original
It was later ported to consoles.
But you did raise an issue. In most if not all cases I don't mind games being released for both consoles and pc (I do despise console exclusives... corporatism, blegh), but I do expect companies to take the differences between platforms into account when doing so. It's obvious this is necessary when going from pc to console, then why is it so hard to understand otherwise?

Indeed coughDeusExInvisibleWarcough I would rather companies take the extra time to add enhancements or least polish up a pc game when it comes from the console than have it out faster.

Continuing to expand my RPG collection (and that of action games, I suppose):
Baldur's Gate with Tales of the Sword Coast
Baldur's Gate 2
Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal
Fallout collection: Fallout and Fallout 2 (and Fallout Tactics)
They don't make games like this anymore, both in a narrow and a broad sense. Pure quality.
