I think that this is far scarier than air defense missles, especially when you consider that Ahmadinejad has publicly proclaimed that the destruction of Israel and the US is near.

Quick Edit @ Tulac: I don't think that the US would sell them any missles at all, considering the threats Iran has made. Granted, we probably did before, like we did with so many other totalitarian countries. >_> However, I seriously doubt that even the government would be stupid enough to sell arms to a country that our ally, Israel (and us as well? ) may soon be fighting.

The US wouldn't even think of such a thing, that'd essentially be career suicide for any politician if they suggested such a thing. Obviously besides the troubles in Iraq, the U.S has to deal not only with Iran and North Korea, but Venezuela is also starting to cause troubles with Chavez at the helm and the policies he's pursuing, especially since he's moving closer to Iran as an ally.

That was my sarcastic remark, but the truth is that the US also sold weapons to many of the villains, so they have no right at all to argue at any level.

That's wonderful. And scary - how can people be so litigious in response to their own stupidity and paranoia? I liked the way MSBC blurred the finger i their video and avoided saying what it was - like a description of a not-very-offensive gesture might upset their readers... I wonder how far America is from a reputable daily happily being able to print the f-word on the front page (as the Guardian has on a few occasions).
