Well I can understand why they have kept it loose, because of the different amount of scenarios that have to be crafted, because not every mission ties in, but we'll see even if that story was optional and they made missions like they have done so in 3 and 4 that wouldn't be bad either.

Well usually you don't need some Poirot scenario, just something to keep your imagination occupied. Swat 4 plays great, but sometimes it feels little numb, there is no crescendo, no peak. The last mission is as tense as first.
I'd like to go for add-on for Swat 4.

Well since they already made an add on to 4 don't think we'll see much more with that game, maybe a game of the year edition but that's it, so just gotta hope that 5 will be made.

Yeah, but I heard somebody made 2-3 new stages for Swat 4, freeware, with some kind of level editor. The file can be found on Internet somewhere, it's not a secret and it is legal. Like maps for Starcraft you still can download for that classic.
At the time, I'm playing new Heroes of Might and Magic as well. When I'm fed up with smart shooting of Swat4, I go for smart fantasy of HOMM5.

There probably is there were some for Swat 3 too, and a few of the user created levels ended up on the elite edition and game of the year edition, plus Sierra made some themselves, other than that though, it only gets you so far. Don't think there will be another expansion pack doubt it, but game of the year edition most likely.

No surprise since there was one with 3, but odd they didn't include it with 4.

It is a pretty good program very in depth with the amount you can do, never could use it myself my comp was like borderline with the requirements for Swat 3 at least.

That's very good dude, awesome work. Hope ya evacuated him the injured team member soon he'll be healed and ready to go, that mission is tough have to say, because of the time limit on the launchers, focus on those first, the next mission though is pretty cool.

Oh and keep your team together a lot in that mission, there is a lot of bad guys, that ya have to track down before you can end the mission, focus on the launchers then you got all the time in the world.

Stuck on this bloody hotel mission - the one where you have to rescue the Russian president.
If I go in Dynamic, with everyone armed to the teeth, all of the terrorists are alerted and they kill me off.
If I go in Stealth-style with MP5SDs, then there's no way that my team lasts the whole mission - the weapons are too puny.
Still only one team member injured, got a nearly full roster.
