Yes it's legal because it's a parody, and pretty positive they did the whole all rights reserved at the end of the show mentioning Nintendo and such, even so not like Nintendo or Sony would do much in this case, just a spoof.

I dunno. If I were from Sony or Nintendo, I'd sue them. One is parody, but using logos and names are giving a different context.
For example, when you put this on the net and I watch it ( and I don't even know what G4 is ) I could develop quite bad opinion about companies. If they would put logo "Kikendo" and if girls would say "I am Bee" , "I am Gameaction 3" I would understand it as spoof.

Sinke, it's a GAMING show, there are shows specificaly made for movies, and no one is sueing them, the whole channel is based on gaming, every major company knows about that channel, if they needed to be sued, they would have done so by now.

Unless in some way it was doing something really really questionable that was hurting the companies, which it isn't in this case then there might be action taken, but it's a pardoy is all and it's just meant to be taken in stride not seriously and I think most gamers would know it's just a parody and that's all. Your taking this way too seriously.

No I don't think G4 stole the idea actually, the last maybe 3 weeks there has been a similar commerical idea but with guys and basically same premise, macintosh vs windows, and the idea was sponsored by Apple, which basically always have the mac winning, through it's points, wish I could find a commercial to show..

Well the first Mac commercial is pretty bad considering PCs can run Linux too, which isn't so vulnerable to viruses...
And the second one really nulls the point of the first commercial...
