Indeed a nice faithful representation of the original game, which will always be a classic.

I have to agree, I think that the very first Zelda (the one that this is a remake of) is one of the best Zelda games ever made. Considering its age, and how big it is, and all the different weapons you can have, and how your life increases after some time - it really is an amazing game, and one of the first true RPGs ever created.

Indeed Zelda 1 did pave the way for many other games of that era, and it really still holds up to this day, if ya really think about it though, with perhaps the exception of Zelda 2, every Zelda game has managed to be classic games, Link to the past on the snes, links awakening on the original gb, Ocarina on the N64 and now with Twilight Princess on the Wii, the game keeps holding it's flame high.

Yeah keep in mind though when the game was originally first released, plus the whole exploration idea and such just added to the charm imo.
