D'oh, knew I'd forgotten something. Hang on...
EDIT: There we go. Hope that makes a bit more sense
I reckon this is your cup of tea, AJ (maybe even with a HobNob on the side...)

It might be worth noting that the screenshots I got only cover the fist few levels of the game - I got bored going over bits I'd already done in KDD. If anyone gets further on, some more screenies would be nice, else I shoud be able to get some once the caravel.net forums are back up.

Too bad. I was rather hoping I wouldn't be able to try it out before the long vacation.
Edit: OK, I did manage to finish the first level, but I find it a bit annoying that you keep having to point the sword in the right direction...

This game is addictive, though tediously time consuming.
I'm not exactly sure how I'd rate it, yet... some puzzles are interesting, but I haven't come up against anything I'd really call challenging. I'm only on level 6 though (and jeez, there are a lot of rooms in some of these levels), so maybe the good stuff is yet to come.
It's kind of fun to watch the roaches explode. I think my favorite part thus far has been hunting down the breeding roaches
And according to the scrolls, I am both a skilled swordsman (not using the alcove), and I have good style (all 9 lined up to the right of you)
Regarding the scrolls - I do think it's neat that the game sometimes points out afterwards whether you've done something well. It's good to teach technique, I suppose, and it feels especially good when you've somehow managed to do what they've said the first time through

My favourites are the ones which mock you for being useless
The updated versions of the game have voice acting for Beethro and other characters, so you get the scrolls and things read to you in a comedy accent

I played a little last night and got to level 7 -
I think level 6 was a bit easier than level 5... or is it just me?
Of course, there weren't nearly so many endless hordes of noxious creatures on 6 as there were on 5...

Played a little bit too, on level 2 atm, stuck in that one room where there is all those arrows that prevents ya from killing that spawning roach.
