You know, not any essay, but something little that comes to your mind. That would give you free hands to express yourself, which was its purpose in the first hand. But feel free to leave it unanswered, if you feel so.

And about that #4, the answer... Before that I can't give you final points! Okay, you already understood the question nicely, but half of the excercise is answering! So far you have only 2.5p from it and it would reduce your current total a little bit...

Just noticed that she did answer it. I had also missed that completely. I got confused by Juni's answer about the difference between "miten" and "kuinka" (or whatever it was) on the previous post as the difference would be kind of "nolla" as well.

You could say "nolla", but I suppose you wouldn't answer that question with "zero" in English either, would you? It's still correct, though. "Ei yhtään" ("Not any"/"None") would be a better (although a much more difficult) answer for example.

Finally I believe I understand what A.J. meant with that... I automatically thought she meant that excercise 4! Ari is correct there. However, I have to add you could also say: "Ei mitään (eroa)." Or at least I can't figure what's the difference... Correct me, if you can. Sometimes people just don't get even simple things, if they're too close to it.

Uh, yes, I wasn't sure whether you could use that outside a sentence because of the two parts. *cough* It's 'not any' rather than 'none', isn't it?

Well, you'd be surprised how complicated things you can say with one word in finnish. But perhaps you're still right. "None" would be "mitään", but you could say that too, though its not literally correct phrase.

Hmm, to make this a bit less frustrating, could I ask you to help me out with the basic forms of a few words, then? Just so I know which 'certain' and which 'then' I want. And I also haven't got a clue how you'd say 'to be supposed to do something' or 'to run for president' - sorry, but there's just no way I can figure out the right translations for that with the help of my rubbishy online resources.
