Interesting... I was writing my book and I actually had to think carefully, how to inflect word "luottaa" (trust) into correct form. It's easy and simple job to inflect it into form "luotettu" (trusted) and even to "luotetuin" (most trusted). However getting it into "(säilyttää) luotetuimpana" (in this case something was wanted (to be kept) as most trusted) was much harder job. OMG AJ, care to do the same for word "ajella" (shave (or drive around)). :wall:

Uhh... what? :)

I didn't even understand the English parts of that post :ok:

Well, perhaps she meant that you can't really "do the same" for ajella, because it's a verb, whereas luotettu, luotetuin, etc are adjective forms.:) Or did you mean convert it into an adjective (presumably by changing it into a past participle) and then give the comparative and superlative forms?:wall:

I can't help but underline that "luottaa" is actually a verb, just as "ajella". So to answer your question, no, I didn't mean convert it into an adjective (presumably by changing it into a past participle) and then give the comparative and superlative forms. :)

Ah, right.:wall: Your explanation was a bit misleading, though: "trusted" and "most trusted" are both adjective forms.

Ajella is not the basic form(perusmuoto). Isn't it "ajaa"?

Täytyy ajaa...
