Juni Ori taught me how to introduce myself (as well as swear a little
, count to ten, and say his dog's name) in Finnish.
It's not much, but hey, I'm proud of myself, Finnish is stupidly hard.

I was very proud of her, especially with introducing herself. "R" seemed to be the most difficult consonant and sometimes "U" was a little too "Y"-ish, but it really didn't matter, as I believe every Finn would had understood her well. I could easily compare her pronouncing to our linguistic and cultural relatives, Estonians. But comparing to Russians would insulting to her! Seriously. Good work, girl!
And sorry Tai, I just can't help but attach this "perkele", it's so lovely! (Warning: Contains swearing in two languages!)

Her voice is very nice indeed. Especially her laugh, it just makes you smile.
But I just have to praise the student, excellent linguistic potential as well as ear.

Woah, that's nice, I could actually understand! You speak better finnish than my english teacher(from CANADA D: and lives here). Just a bit quiet, I have to pump up the volume quite high. But that just may be the game running in my background

No, actually it seems that tai is a little bit shy and soft-speaking, but that's forgiveable, isn't that?

Yes, I have a quiet voice, and it also doesn't help that my mic (or card or recording software, not sure which) is screwed up, and records about 20dB quieter than it actually sounds...

And it wasn't helping that I had alien growling and *crapola* playing in the background.

Interesting... I was writing my book and I actually had to think carefully, how to inflect word "luottaa" (trust) into correct form. It's easy and simple job to inflect it into form "luotettu" (trusted) and even to "luotetuin" (most trusted). However getting it into "(säilyttää) luotetuimpana" (in this case something was wanted (to be kept) as most trusted) was much harder job.
AJ, care to do the same for word "ajella" (shave (or drive around)).
