It was excellent, but it wasn't very popular at all. The maps were far too dark.

Yeah noticed that with multiplayer never was popular, least from the visits to some deus ex boards, people seemed to always be asking for people to join.

Never popular?
Even now X years along the line there are still quite a few servers about. Also theres a MASSSIVE multi-player mod being developed at the moment. Problem/Plus with the MP theese days is a lot of servers host 'chatroom'ish kind of games. A 'fun' map where players can own shops,swap clothes.. swim in the pool, dance and stuff like that. I always found the MP to be less of a 'game' than a semi-social activity. Playing MP with say a forum member a friend or somebody you know via MSN is usually quite a laugh but it's a bit hard to just jump in and play with others.
Good game, might re-install it.

Definitely a good game, I'm still waiting for and others too for the two really big mods to come out, The nameless Mod and Unatco Unborn, also if your looking for a mod to tide you over, check out the Zodiac mod, a very great story and excellent sidestory for the game.

The Cassandra Project was alright I'll give it that, the Zodiac Mod is immensely better imo considering they actually finished the project unlike the Cassandra Mod.

I'm still hoping for the nameless mod and Unatco Born. Those two will both be great mods.

The nameless mod will add a lot more to the game though and it's got a great following and lots of support both will be killer mods.
