Infinity 2 is the sequel to the first Infinity. Since Infinity is not a storyline based game, Infinity 2 is an improvement to the overall game.

Infinity was more of an introduction to a style of gaming. A new kind of free roaming, character collecting craziness. Infinity 2 will build on that format.

The new game will have some small storylines, along with an improved RPG factor. Instead of recieving a large amount of money at the start, you are given no money. You will have choices throughout the game, deciding how to make money. You can go on the light path, or the dark path.. or both, or no path. It's up to you.

New Additions:

-Assassination Contracts
Take up assassination contracts for money. You are given riddles, and must find the NPC, then kill the NPC. In return, you are given cash for all your trouble.

-Monster Battles
In the first Infinity, monsters were completely removed from the game. But in Infinity 2, you can battle monsters for cash.

-Jobs
Now you don't have to go down the dark path to make money. Jobs will be featured in Infinity 2. You will make money, while losing energy.

-Seasons
The main map of Infinity 2 will change seasons. You will see snow on the ground, and covering the roofs of buildings. When spring comes, flowers begin to grow. Everything is in full bloom in summer. And in the fall, everything has an orange color.

-Maps to Explore
Besides the main season-changing map, you can also explore new maps. Possibly a city, or even a desert. This part of the game is still in the brainstorming stage.

-Gangs
Join a gang, even the mafia, and work for them.

-Improved Dating System
The name says it all.

And many more features are being added, as development continues.

Infinity 2 will be released sometime in early 2012.

Will we have a choice of characters, like in Infinity 1?

All of the original characters, plus new ones.

A Notoriety & Kindness feature has been added to Infinity 2. Players gain Notoriety/Kindness points depending on certain actions in the game. Fulfilling an assassination contract would increase their Notoriety, while helping an older citizen find a lost item would increase Kindness.

A Notoriety & Kindness meter has also been added.

I love the Kindness\Notority idea.  I could have so much fun with that!       How did you think of it?  

And can't wait to see what new characters you're gonna bring in.

It's a play on the similar style systems used in Assassins Creed, and other games. With the stat-based gameplay of Grand Theft Auto.

There aren't any consequences yet, if you have a high Notoriety level, but right now it's more of.. keeping track of the good, and bad things you have done in the game.
