While browsing around some older shows, found the original intro to a fairly old show from back in the day, Power Rangers! Remember this show quite well, used to watch it at times when I was bored, it was an okies show, pretty cheesy in a lot of parts though, intro included, but great intro song nevertheless, sorta metalish.
Don't know if it was as big in Europe, but here in NA, it was huge at the time it came out, lots of merchandise, and other tie ins, had two movies too I believe.

In honor that the word "Truthiness was chosen as the word of the year from Merriam-Webster
. As seen below in this blurb.
Merriam-Webster 2006 Word of the Year
By an overwhelming 5 to 1 majority vote, visitors to the Merriam-Webster website awarded "truthiness" top honors.[40] "We're at a point where what constitutes truth is a question on a lot of people's minds, and truth has become up for grabs," said Merriam-Webster president John Morse. "'Truthiness' is a playful way for us to think about a very important issue."[41]

All I can say, is...
...
...nothing, really. I am speechless. I can't believe I missed this episode when it was running on the TV here. Looks like a truly remarkable episode.
As if naming a rope ladder, and even putting a sign at the bottom of it, wasn't enough...

Tom, you show remarkably good taste as far as popular culture goes
This brilliant movie is "Batman The Movie" from 1966, a real classic, but I'm not sure if it ever was done in any of the episodes of the TV series.
Here's another one of those, slightly absurd:

This kind of fights are usually messy but lo, that was better than Bruce Lee. What precission, what strenght, what body-mind concentration, what fierce determination. I pity the poor defenceless reporter.
Somebody ought to upload the sequence you get when you finish the game with Bjork.
