Umm.. Aren't those two synonymous? Define 1980s in a non-scary way..?
Easy. The good old days when I was going to primary school, blissfully ignorant of things like that, because we only had a black-and-white tv set and a stack of classical records at home. Boy, was I lucky...:D

Moving on from that scaryness, time to jump ahead to the year 92, a new band had emerged with recent ton of airplay on this one song from MTV and commercial radio, the name is Pull me Under by Dream Theater, which even they admit they don't like the vid, as it has nothing to do with the song (they had no role in the actual video) plus the vid is edited from an 8 min song to 4 mins and 40ish but it's quite a watch even with the wolfman making an appearance. :D

Cool.

This is maybe as kitsch as Almodovar but should result less scary --I hope so. :D By Spanish kitsch psychodelic band "The Rebel Big Strawberries":

I don't know if DeathDude will like this kind of music... LOL

Does every Spanish song there is have the word "corazon" (or however you spell "heart") in its lyrics? Some years ago I was in a restaurant with a friend of mine, and they happened to play Spanish music in there. My friend said she had wondered this, as pretty much every Spanish song she had ever listened to had the word in its lyrics. She almost made a bet that every song we'd hear there would have the word somewhere, often in the chorus. The interesting thing is, that every friggin' one of them had!

After that conversation I have noticed that word extremely well in Spanish music, and I seriously still can't say if I have ever heard a Spanish song without "corazon" in it... At least it's pretty damn common.

I didn't have time to look at those both videos, but I watched the first 30 seconds or something of the first one, and guess which word I heard during that. :D
What is it about a beautiful sunny afternoon, with the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, that makes you want to get drunk?

Well, that's pretty much like asking how many English songs include the word "baby". However, as strange as it may seem, there's no "corazón" in the second song... Although a heart is actually drawn with a marker by someone in the clip! :D

Well, I see why it's a common word in some music, but it's still crazy how often you hear it. Although most Spanish music one will hear in Finland without especially looking for Spanish music (ie. in restaurants and such) is crappy Eurovision style pop, you'd still think even some of the lyrics would have other topics than love or loneliness or something... or maybe they do, I don't know Spanish. I guess you could do a song about anything with "heart" somewhere in the lyrics. Maybe the Spanish are just very.. hearty.

I guess it's because most songs are about love and such. Much of Spanish music is crappy Eurovision style pop --and the people we send to EV are below average even there... Spanish music hasn't been that original lately, I mean for quite a long time, of course there are exceptions.

Whoa that's all I can say on that last one. :D

This is a pretty interesting vid, kind of funny the way it's so random from his 97 album ocean machine here's Mr. Devin Townsend and his music vid for the song Life.
