A game i want so badly you could say that i....REQUIRE it ......It was a FPS..3d graphics, cannot remember if 3d accelerated or not....i THINK you could right click or something and these....spells..perhaps, a list of them would come up, and you choose one...i belive i remember shooting ligtling out of my hand at these..things....i do hope that is SOMEWHAT accurite

was it true 3D or 2 1/2D?
im taking it was 3d if you dont know if it was accelerated or not

Wasn't the Wheel of Time game by any chance? Slightly crappy game on the Unreal engine.
I think there was some lightning involved in Hexen (or Hexen II) and quite possibly Heretic as well (all iD games on the quake (II) engine)

Anvil of Dawn maybe?
It's not a FPS, but it can give you that impression. And there is definately a magic menu and things to fry

I do not think it is wheel of time. It is not any hexens or heretics ( i own them all) and it is not starwars (i would know 
)
As for anvil of dawn, nope, i remember that the game i am talking about to have full 3d if i remember right. Perhaps some screenies of WoT, and also maybe more ideas on what game??

Mebbie it was Shadowcaster?
I've never played it, but it's the only "FPS" that I can think of, that had spells and such that hasn't been mentioned.
