Whoa! Lots of comments... ok, here goes
DV/PV: 23/24 - The PV is pretty good for level 10, but 23 DV? When you're venturing that far into the CoC, it should be closer to 50.
Really?

How long am I supposed to play this game? I've never had a character even come close to 50. (I think the most I've had is 30-ish. And that was with a Crystal Shield giving me +10 and something else way up there). It's just so boring to wonder around in circles in the dungeons...
Burdened - You needn't have been burdened: you were lugging quite a lot of junk around with you. Don't forget that being burdened lowers your DV and reduces your speed.
I carry it around so that I can drop it on an altar, and see what I can put on and what I can drop. Illiterate Trolls can't use Scrolls of Identify

I always drop the crap, and carry around with me a maximum of 3 substitutes for each category. Like 3 armors, 3 helmets, 3 weapons and so on - in case something gets destroyed.
And I kept all the scrolls in case I learned how to read - by eating a Mage or something, but they never dropped a corpse
Bo: blessed white dragon scale mail (-2, -4) [-2, +9] [200s] - this is nice, but it sacrifices DV for PV and you rarely need cold immunity anyway. You'd have been better off wearing this: uncursed mithril chain mail (-1, -3) [+2, +7] [320s]
Hehehe. It was originally a [-2, +11] armor, but that tree got a few lucky punches, and I wasn't gonna start undressing there. The reason I put it on was because that stupid Necromancer in the graveyard kept tozzing frost at me. And I like being resistant to as many attacks as possible.
RH: cursed scythe of corruption "Moon Sickle" (+6, 10d4+6) [+2, +2] [70s] - Don't. But you probably know that by now.
It was great fun, though. And none of the corruptions really bothered me - apart from the poisonous hands... as that one killed me
LR: uncursed wedding ring [1s] - Why?
Because it was listed as nograin ring to me. I can't identify rings, so I just pick out two random rings to wear. This time I chose a wooden ring and a nograin ring.
Ga: uncursed black leather gauntlets [+0, +1] [10s] - Why weren't you wearing the thick gauntlets to counter the poison hands corruption? Or the elemental gauntlets for the resistances?
Because in order to wear the thick gauntlets, I need to take off the black gauntlets. But before I can remove the black gauntlets, I need to put down the Death Scythe. As the Death Scythe is Cursed, I need to dip it in Holy Water. As I don't have Holy Water, I need to make it. When I have made Holy Water I need to pick it up, and every potion I pick up, is turned into a potion of poison, due to my hands... so you see...

As for the Elemental Gauntlets, I had to run away - as the necromancer kept freezing me, and that stupid Dwarf kept hitting on me. (Even though I wasn't interested). And I would've had the same dilemma in any case, as the above scenario would still be in effect
uncursed cooking set [100s] - But you can't even cook? Well, you can, but your character can't, so there's no point in carrying it around with you. Just sell it to Waldenbrook.
A very good point. I'll do that the next time
cursed thieves picks [5s] - Unless you actually have the pick locks skill, there's not much point in having those either; your character won't know how to use them.
Another very good point.
uncursed magical writing set (3) [5s] - Yes, I know those are nice, but you're playing an illiterate barbarian. Even if you eventually became a literate barbarian, you'd probably die if you attempted to write a scroll, so it's useless to you as well.
I just picked it up... I think it was in the level above. Can't be too sure. I was planning on keeping it though, in case I got literate and could read and write scrolls
heap of 2 cursed harps [60s] - You didn't have the music skill either, so they're useless.
Yeah... I should've sold those ages ago. I tend to forget those, as they are so far down in the inventory...
cursed wand of teleportation (2 charges) [4s] - Might have helped you to get away from those hostile trees. Then again, it might not.
Same issue as above

It was either the Ruby Wand, the Oak Wand, the Gnarled Wand, the Glass Wand, or any of the other wands I had. Not being able to identify stuff sucks.... hehehe.
uncursed manual of bridge building [100s]
uncursed spellbook of Death Ray [100s]
uncursed spellbook of Invisibility [100s]
- Those are of no use to an illiterate character. And a barbarian wouldn't be able to learn those spells from a book anyway.
He wouldn't? Damn... I've been carrying those around for no good then...
heap of 11 uncursed moss patches of mareilon [22s] - Why didn't you use those to train dexterity?
I've never really learned the herb aspect of the game. I try to chew something, but nothing ever seems to be happening. Apart from those cure poison plants and the pepper petals. Oh, and those poisonous ones. I once ate a ton of stat changing herbs, but nothing happened

I thought it had to do with my learning skill or something, so I didn't want to waste them.
Pole arms --- 7 +7 +3 +6 --- skilled --- 16
Twohanded weapons --- 8 +7 +10 +3 --- excellent --- 355
- That's a DV difference of 3 there. Not to mention the additional DV you'd have got from a shield.
Not following that one...
Aren't both Pole Arms and Twohanded Weapons... twohanded weapon groups? I know I couldn't weild a shield when I used that Twohanded Mithril Sword of mine. And that was the weapon I removed when I tried wielding the "ancient scythe" - which was found in the Two-Handed Weapons group in the inventory. So I assumed I couldn't wield a shield with that one. (So I didn't even think to try). The Death Scythe is the reason why I got to level 7 in Pole Arms.
I see you didn't get the healing skill. Why not? It's useful to have, even for trolls.
Because the stupid Carpenter wouldn't want to follow an invisible Troll up the stairs. The puppy did, though. But I guess that was because he could smell me or something. The carpenter just followed me to the stairs, but didn't go up with me, because he kept "searching for something". So I lobbed a rock at him to get his attention, but it didn't help. He still couldn't figure out where the rock came from. So I cut him in half and looted his corpse.
Why didn't you become literate? Did Thrundaar give you an impossible quest? ("I want ye to slay a greater earth elemental...")
Almost. He wanted a Lightning Lizard. I've never seen one of those. With any of my characters. Stupid Midget King...
Your muscles have stiffened slowing you down (base action cost: 1500 energy
points; PV: +4, St: +2).
Poison drips from your hands.
You have grown thorns (3d3 melee damage, Dx: -2, Ap: -3).
- That would be Moonsickle...

Yeah... but only the poison was troublesome (as it meant I couldn't remove my Death Scythe - read above). The others weren't a problem at all. In fact I loved the other two, as the downsides were either fixed (blessed seven league boots) or not an issue for an invisible barbarian (who cares about dexterity and appearance when no-one can see you or hit you?)
He brought back joy into the life of a tiny girl. - Congratulations.
I always do that. The puppy quest is the easiest quest, I think

Anyways. I am sure that was the reason why I didn't get crowned as chaotic. I should've saved the puppy, then slaughtered it in front of the girl, I think. If that hadn't made me king of evilness, then I don't know what would
... the elemental gauntlets - Didn't you pick them up because of the bone golem?
Naaah. Never had problems with Golems. It's the Frost-tossing necromancers and psychotic Dwarf-zombies that cause problems.
He had the following talents: Affinity with Swords, Affinity with Twohanded
Weapons, Careful, Strong. - I suppose you chose strong as your starting talent? It has a negligible effect, really. You'd be better off going for alert, so you can pick miser and treasure hunter later on.
Hmmm... I'll look into that, but yeah... Strong was the starting one, as I was trying to be the strongest Troll in existence. And with 44 in Strength as a level 10 character, I think I did pretty good
He was despised by Vagrak. - Too many prayers? Or maybe you just should have sacrificed a bit more...
I prayed for him to rescue me 6 times. But that was once I decided to go out in glory with the Death Scythe (once I realized I would never get rid of it - of the above reasons... stupid poisonous hands.) Before that I offered every living sould that ventured onto a black altar and dozens of SIs and stones and weapons. But he was only "very pleased" with me. Silly Vagrak.
137 animated trees - tsk, tsk.
I was just training my Woodcutting skills, honestly
73 giant bee warriors - Whoa! That must have been a huge beehive.
Yeah... there was no end to the little buggers. I think I stood there for 3 hours chopping bees as they popped out. Was kinda annoying after a while.
"HAHA! A Bee! Take THAT!"

Well, you get the idea.
Thanks for all the advice, Raffles. I'll put it all to good use on my next character.
