I've found one bloody altar and it was in Yrrig's cave! Not going back there!

I found one in Yrrigs Cave, 1 in the Cavern of Chaos, and 1 in the Unremarkable Dungeon.

What about the one in dwarftown? Oh, right, you're trying to get a chaotic crowning. In that case you'll just have to wait. Or convert to whatever alignment the altar in dwarftown is.

True, there's that neutral, forgot that! Not going to convert, I'm loyal servant of 'th (or whatever her name was, that spidergoddess anyway ). She seems to have quite many variations of her name, btw.

Okies, before I run to work:

I've done the pyramid now (which was real annoying), and am in the Caverns of Chaos, on my way to dwarftown (I guess). Is it just me, or are the CoC really boring on the top levels?

I've skipped the arena for now because I think I read somewhere that it's best to wait until you're told to do it...

Hmm, it's not such a good idea to kill too many trees, actually. They'll keep respawning and they'll get experienced very quickly...

You are only screwed if you fire in random ways (or attack randomly). Find the ones that are hostile and chop them up. If they don't care about you, don't care about them. Only chop hostile ones. And when there are no hostiles. Make one

Wellies, it's no more a problem. She's dead... But she was my strongest and highest scored (>x2 to second!) character so far! And she killed 134 of those damn trees! Well, if interested, look at her:
