To sell things drop them in a shop and the owner will offer you something or tell you he's not interested. The guy in Terinyo only buys foodstuffs though, although you can get a few gold by dumping kobold and other useless corpses in there. It looks like you need to get to the HMV or Dwarftown to sell other stuff.
Sickness seems to reduce your health to about half any time it goes over, probably affects your satiety level too. (Satiety's a word, right?)

that must be... frustrating? I don't understand, I never have food-problems. Now I have one problem: I don't get further because I storm back to altar every time I get corpse...

Woah, forgot I was literate and had a blank scroll. Finally solved the starvation run I was having. Simply wrote a scroll of saturation... which worked

Edit: While offering, I tend to lose my offerings in some mist, but nothing else happens anymore. Anybody know why?

That would be all that praying you've been doing recently. You'll have to sacrifice quite a lot in order to get your piety back up again.

I think I messed up bigtime
My Troll got poisoned from testing out a White potion, and in my attempt of healing the poison, I ate all the herb I had - only to get sick.

Now he is trying to use that First Aid for all it is worth hehe
