That sounds like a good idea! Now I'm going to sacrifice mithril broad sword (+0, 1d7+4),  because wielding it would reduce my melee from R: +14, 1d8+2 L: +11, 1d8+2 to R: +9, 1d7+6 L: +10, 1d8+2. Too big decrease of to hit in my opinion. Instead my two scimitars are going to rock!

Two fists and 1337 d()dg3 skillz0rz for me. Each and all weapon I've got so far has been useless. I don't know how empty-handed fighting works in the game, but it feels like my hit-chance goes down dramatically the moment I equip something in my hands, like a shield, or a weapon.

Whoa, second sacrifice after double-conversion says: "You burn with the anticipation of power." Now I'm getting scared.
Tsk, tsk. Chaotic, are we?:D It's just a regular message chaotics get when they're at a certain piety level (I think for neutrals and lawfuls it would be "you feel spiritually invincible").

Hey, I'm still Dark Elf, you know? Actually I was wishing to be converted to neutral when I sacrificed on grey altars, but somehow I just converted them... :D But I have to admit my character is close to invincible now!

I've had some of those, but always drank them. They don't seem to have any effect besides a confusing message when doing that.

As for fighting jellies... I noticed

Potions of exchange swap two of your stats around I think, cursed ones possibly doing something else nastier. You can change items into something else by dipping them in them too.

Blessed potions of exchange swap around two of your stats. Uncursed and cursed ones swap even more.

I think I'd better double-check my stats then. I've quaffed three or four of those potions

Well, as long as you don't end up swapping 30 strength and 8 appearance or something like that...

St: 21
Le: 16
Wi: 10
Dx: 8
To: 21
Ch: 3
Ap: 8
Ma: 23
Pe: 14

DV/PV: 27/8
H: (159)
P: (63)

Doesn't look too bad, except that my Dx could be higher... maybe switched with To (whatever that may be). Dunno what Le, Ma and Pe are, either.

To get literacy (if you've started off without it) try eating the body of an educated monster.  I've eaten the body of a dark sage with an orc barabarian and gained literacy, not a very high level though, but still.

EDIT: To = Toughness, so it's very important for any character that uses melee weapons.

Oh, and beastfighter get epnaltioes when using anything in their hands (they fight best bare-handed, read the manual for more detail).

Looks pretty good so far. Just try and find some herbs as soon as possible to train your willpower, dexterity and toughness up a bit. PV is a bit low for a level 13 (?) character, but if you're playing a beastfighter you won't want to wield shields, I suppose...
Have you trained missiles yet? You should.

Edit: Le=Learning, Ma=Mana, Pe=Perception.

Hmm, not enough yet. What you want for stat training is morgia roots and moss of Mareillon. Preferably blessed. Devil's roses and burb roots poison you and give you sickness, so you don't need to hold on to them.
