Oy, a vegetarian killing worms... isn't that a tad bit hypocritic from that vegetarian?

Vegetarian = person that doesn't eat meat due to not wanting animals to die.
Pacifist = person that always gets picked on cause he doesn't want to fight, which makes him/her/it an easy target.
Anyways, didn't know vegetarian was a class in there

And vegetarian isn't a class, it's a sort of challenge game, basically.

The direct destruction of life does sound like killing

For some reason, that's worse (in my eyes) than killing animals for food. Anyways, we're getting a bit off-topic. What I've been wondering 'bout... what exactly's setting ADoM so above other Roguelikes? Comparing this thread to the other Roguelike-threads, this one jumps out for miles.

Veggie2 is going fine at the moment and just waiting to be crowned. I did manage to grow some stomafillia herbs in a room with an altar, though, so I managed an amazing four precrownings. And nice artifacts, too.
I bet the character is going to die in the Tower of Eternal Flames...

Survived the ToEF fine, but the cat lord's going to be a bit tricky: I've killed about twenty cats so far... What's worse, I can't see invisible (I couldn't get to the pyramid on time to get the mummy wrapping), so I fear it's going to be "Something critically hits you. Something critically hits you! Something critically hits you! Something critically hits you! You die..."

Dead.
Surprisingly enough it wasn't the cat lord but a greater moloch (generated in a tension room on the level below) that was just far tougher than it should have been. My missile weapon skills were decent, but not enough, apparently. When I ran out of ammunition and tried to sneak past him to pick up my arrows and quarrels of demon slaying, he hit me. Twice. The End. Oh well, that's ADOM for you.

Just begun with interesting Dark Elf Assasin. Got three talents and too all the way to Greased Lightning and now my speed is 112 at first level! Don't know how clever that was, but we'll see. Only drawback was that now I can't use two weapons. Yet.
Edit: Dead... Darn Wizard summoned huge number of Tarantulas around me! But overall nice character. Perhaps I try another one.
