Indeed.
Seriously though, where do these randomly created creatures (especially ones in the sewers - would you flush magical swords/rings down the bog?) get all of their loot?

If it's ever going to be finished, that is...
... still pickpocketing gremlins while trying to train up my stats again - it's past day 90 anyway, so it doesn't really matter any more.
Edit: Ahem, due to a little accident, there's now a shopkeeper on my kill list. Actually I wanted to SELL that wand of destruction to Waldenbrook rather than zap it in the middle of the shop.
Oh well, at least my character was advanced enough to be able to deal both with Waldenbrook and his muscular dwarves. I've created a screenshot of the destroyed shop, but unfortunately I didn't think of taking one straight away... Amazingly enough, the rest of Dwarftown didn't turn hostile, and now all those goody-goody dwarves are happily looting the half-demolished shop.
Bloody hypocrites.

Whoops... I did the same the first time I played Baldur's gate.
Thought pattern : Yes, if I click on my sword and then on the shopkeeper it's bound to sell it. Oh and look, there's a golden sword symbol over him, so obviously sword + golden = sell it.
Shopkeeper : Ow! Oh dear! *dies*
Candlekeep : "We'll get you for this! *main character dies*

Things are looking pretty good now: I got a wish from a pool in Darkforge, picked up intrinsic invisibility from another pool and found a greater vault of giants just below the casino. If she survives the Cat Lord, I think this character should have a fair chance of winning.
Oh, and I'm trying to take screenshots throughout, just in case anybody wants them...

Right. You have admin rights, yeah?
Why not just put them in the review of the game in 'screenshots' bit then?

Just did the library, with a tension room of titans on level 1. Eek! But my character's still alive and kicking and about to do the remaining elemental temples (water, air, earth and mana) next. I'm going to skip the blue dragon caves this time, though; I don't really need the extra xp.

I've been playing a lot as rangers and priests recently, I like rangers because of their skill with both melee and missile weapons, plus their skill at two weapon combat, and I like priests becuase of detect item status, which is insanely useful as it allows me to wquip items I find lying around in dungeons without fear of them being cursed, plus becuase they are good melee fighters who can cast a few spells.
