Chief: ... Well it is strange that you would mention it... But your right. It is rumored to be haunted. I don't believe it though.

*The chief clears his throat*

Chief: Of course, it's hard not to believe the stories. Even after people left the hotel, they always wind up being killed... It's very odd. Though some have escaped the madness. But of course the hotel is also popular, and many people ignore or choose to ignore the stories.

[Frodo]

Chief: Well... Hold on. *Walks over to the door-window and closes the blinds.*

Chief: I don't want my officers to know about this... But I've been seeing a paranormal investigator. I never believed in ghosts or demons. But something happened recently....

*The chief's eyes water up*

Chief: One night... a few months ago, my sister & her fiancé was staying at the hotel. She was coming in from London, they were supposed to get married here in Liberta... So they stayed at the hotel, because I didn't want them to bother me at my home. *voice begins to crackle*

*The chief opens his desk.  He takes out piles of paper, and a case. After opening the case, he pulls out a room key.*

Chief: She was staying in room number 1408... Here's the key. *the chief hands you the room key.* On that night, at about 1 am, I received a phone call from her. She told me that her hotel room was haunted, and that blood was coming from the walls, etc... Naturally I thought she was joking. But she insisted that she would leave the hotel.... As she was packing up, her fiancé jumped from the hotel room window. He died while in transit to the hospital.... No one understood why someone so happy to get married, would kill himself... But this was only the beginning... *sniff*

*The chief once again clears his throat*

Chief: When I went to the hospital, and met with my sister, she told me that before her fiancé jumped, he told her, "I must leave this room"... then he jumped........ A week later, I received a call at work... my sister was dead. She died in her sleep.... but my sister was only 31 years old... and she was completely healthy.

*The chief wipes his eyes with a tissue.*

Chief: So I recently called a paranormal investigation team... they plan on going into the hotel, and doing an investigation.. and it's weird that you mention it. Because they are doing the investigation tonight. They were very concerned over their own health & well-being, so they invited a priest to come as well.

Chief: Stop repeating yourself. But yes, I can understand what is happening to you... do you have your room key?

*starts frantically searching pockets, eventually finding the key*

*The chief examines the key.*

Chief: Sure enough. You were in room 1408.

[Doubler]

Chief: Yes. I kind of like `em too.

*The door opens*

Man: Chief, we need you out here.

Chief: I'm sorry, but I'm very busy. If you want, go to the hotel tonight. Maybe the priest can help you... I don't want you to die as well.

*Walks out of room*

Search office for blood!  

[Nick]

You look around the office, but all you find is coffee & some interns.

[Doubler]

If we don't still have one, look around for a towel.
Then go outside.

You move your wheelchair outside. You see some taxis driving back and forth.
