*The officer gives you a stern look*

*He waves to someone.*

Officer: Chief! We have a situation here.

*The chief comes walking over.*

Chief: What's the problem here?

Tell the chief someone removed your legs not an hour ago and this officer is refusing to help you.

[Nick]

*The chief looks at the officer.*

Chief: Your now off of desk duty.

Officer: But sir...

Chief: Shut up! This man can't even walk. Someone get him a wheelchair! NOW!

*An intern comes running over with a wheelchair.*

Chief: Come to my office.

Wheel yourself to the Chief's office, and thank him for his help

Your now in the chief's office.

Chief: No problem, it's my job. So, how can I help you today?

[Frodo]

Ask to 'borrow' his legs.  

[Nick]

Chief: ... Hehe... I hope that was a joke.

[Doubler]

Laugh in a friendly manner.
Then tell him you'd like to file charges against Death, and get a restraining order against it.

[Nick]

Chief: .... You mean the gang, "Death"?

[Doubler]

Don't answer the question.
Tell the chief Death's been stalking you. Harming you. That it's been attempting to recruit you.

[Nick]

Chief: Hmm.. that makes no sense. The gang has been dead for the last few months. And they were only drug dealers. You sure it was them?

[Doubler]

Tell him you can't be entirely sure, but whatever it was certaily did talk about Death an awful lot.
Also ask what exactly this town is called and whether there's an hotel anywhere.

[Nick]

*The chief scratches his head*

Chief: Your in Liberta. And the nearest hotel is the Grand River Hotel. It's only a few miles away from here.

Tell the Chief, that hotel is haunted
