(Marco and Franco were doing the ritual. Both of them... are somewhere. )

Desmond: NO! Do not go back in there! Sumonsar did not take Franco... I assume Franco is somewhere else.. *acts strange*

*is startled by Dessy's strange behaviour*  

How do you now Sumonsar didn't take Franco?  Why are you so against me going to look for him?  
John, what is going on?

John: Damned if I should know. Desmond was arrested for a reason... A reason in which I still don't know.

Desmond: Franco.. is not one of the "chosen". I assume Sumonsar plans on him rotting on this earth. And I am not against it.. but I am against going back inside that building.. We need to leave..

You want an innocent man to die?  What kind of monster are you?  Can't you see that Sumonsar is evil?  

*to John*  Daddy, will you come with me, and help find your friend Franco?

John: ... Sure...

Desmond: Stop right there! *Desmond pulls out his hunting knife* No one is going anywhere.

If what you say is true, and that demon has 'chosen' me, then you wouldn't dare hurt me.

*backs away from Des, making sure John stays behind her*

Desmond: I am not planning on harming anyone. But we need to keep moving. If we stay behind, the less time we have to save humanity!

We can't perform the ritual without Franco.  Besides, why pull a knife on us?

Desmond: Because we need to find Franco.. but he is not here.

How do you know he's not here?  Are you hiding something from us?

Desmond: Believe me. If Franco was a chosen one, he would have been taken here.. like the two of you. But.. that is not the case. He's probably still in Sahon..

[Frodo]

Quit stalling.  I'm going inside to look for Franco.  John, are you coming?

Desmond: Fine! But I am going to warn this planet of it's fate. I was held in this hellhole for months! It is time to escape!

John: I agree with Desmond... Franco would not have been taken by Sumonsar. If anything, he is still in Sahon.

*Suddenly, the speakers become louder, and an alarm sounds*
Speaker: Warning. Prisoners have escaped. Warning. Prisoners have escaped. Warning. Prisoners have escaped.

John: Quick! We need to get out of here! *spots an old car a few feet away*
