Franco: Well, you were acting like an idiot. I saved us both. We only have a certain amount of time, before they come back.

Well, I didn't want to leave to leave you to those creatures.  But why is it so important that I am saved?

Franco: *looks at driver.* Ah well, he can't understand us anyway.

Driver: ¿a mí qué me importa?

Franco: Uh... I take that as a yes. Anyway... your more important then you should know. Your the chosen one. You come from a bloodline of knights, demon slayers, and kings. Your great ancestors helped save the world from demons, dating all the way back to the middle ages. Every so often, a soul will be so angry in death, it will turn evil. These demons still think you want to stop them. They have no idea we are in the 21st century, and that you no longer ride on a horse and carry a sword. Your great grandfather died fighting a demon... and for years, all was peaceful. Until Sumonsar started contacting your mother. Then all hell broke lose... literally.

What did Sumonsar want with my mother?

[Nick]

Franco: Sumonsar wanted to kill her, and finally destroy your family bloodline. He did not know she had a child. But Sumonsar found out about you... once you entered the hotel room. That is why you don't remember anything before it. On October 9th 2009, I assume you entered the hotel room. That is when Sumonsar's reign of terror began.

[Frodo]

So how do I stop it?

[Nick]

Franco: Sumonsar has attached himself to two things on earth. The hotel, which you destroyed thankfully, and a small town in Mexico. This town is where a portal to the underworld lies. We need to have a ceremony, within the town, a ceremony called the "Rite of Vaent". This ceremony will destroy Sumonsar's connection to this earth, and will close the passage way. However, this ceremony is vastly kept quite, because of it's dangerous attributes. Many people have died attempting it, and in some cases, the ceremony failed, and the demon became more powerful... In order for it to work, we need 3 priests, a member of the cursed bloodline... which would be you, and some other people who could help pray. The more people, the better chances of succeeding. *clears throat*

Franco: I hate to even mention Vaent's name... or the rite itself.

Any blood-drinking in this ritual?  And how can we persuade anyone to believe us?

[Nick]

Franco: No blood drinking. And getting people to come should be easy. These poor Mexicans will do anything for some good food, and some pay.

So what does ritual involve?

Franco: The ritual involves everyone saying a pray in Latin, while you, being the cursed blood, lie in the center of the circle. Often you will feel pain, and will try to harm us, so we will strap you down. This is not going to be pretty. And it often can kill people. I will also invoke some spells as well. It is a very scary and dramatic rite.

*You tell the driver....*

You: The Man with the hat sent us. He told us many amazing stories! My pencil is long and hard.

Driver: ..... *speaks little English* I not gay.

Franco: What the f*ck?

Franco: I don't know all of it... but I do remember some. *clears throat* Nos votum transmitto everto tergum in barathrum. Is everto est haud diutius volo in nostrum universitas. Hoc everto vinculum ut is terra.

(For easy translation: We wish to send the demon back into the underworld. This demon is no longer wanted in our world. Break this demon's bond to this earth.)

Franco: You do understand the seriousness of this issue don't you? You could possibly di.. *interrupted by the sudden stopping of the car*

Driver: We are here! Please... please go.

*Franco get's out of the car, after handing a wad of money to the driver.*

Franco: Well... here we are. Welcome to Mexico city... Want to grab a bite to eat before we begin our journey?
