How did John know, when my mother didn't?

Franco: John had went to the hospital when you were born. He had a strange feeling you were his child, so through a nurse John knew, they did a DNA test without your mother knowing. The results came back positive. Your mother was already seeing another man... So John felt it right to leave things alone.

[Frodo]

Forgive Franco for lying to you, and vow to find John.  

[Nick]

Franco: Your a great person. And you didn't deserve to have Sumonsar chasing after you.

*The plane section is only a few hundred feet away from the earth.*

Franco: Good luck, and I hope you find John, even if I die.

*You get a feeling of dread again....*

You: God help us.

*The final sound you hear, is a loud metal noise. Then darkness.*

[Frodo]

When you finally wake up, check you have all your limbs attached.

[Nick]

*Your eyes flicker open... slowly you sit up... your lying on the sand, as the upside plane cabin is above you.*

*You look at Franco's seat, and notice he is hanging upside down, being strapped in by the seatbelt.*

*You notice that all your limbs are intact, but your bleeding badly from your right shoulder.*

*The sound of people screaming, and engines malfunctioning are deafening.*

The Crash Site:

Release Franco from the seat, and ease him down GENTLY!  

[Nick]

*As you lower him to the ground, you notice Franco is unconscious.*

*A man comes running up to you.*

Man: Need any help in here? I am a Doctor.

[Frodo]

Yes please.  My friend needs help  *points to Franco*  He is unconscious.

(Watched it in the first season, then stopped. But when I needed good fictional air-crash pictures, Lost took the award. )

*The doctor takes Franco's pulse.*

Doctor: His pulse is steady, so he will be fine. But it might take awhile for him to wake up.

Can I do anything for him?  He is a dear friend.

[Nick]

Doctor: I am afraid I...

*Franco suddenly starts gasping for life*

[Frodo]

Tell Franco everything will be okay.

[Nick]

Franco: *cough*.... What.. happened?

Doctor: You were in a plane crash.

Franco: All... I remember, was flying low to the ground... then a loud boom. *a look of remembrance goes on Franco's face* Where are we?

Doctor: After pulling out my GPS, I discovered that we crashed in El Salvador. I'm not sure where the rest of the plane landed.
