Hi all, I've been wanting to create a (relatively simple) 2d overhead space shooter, but I need some help with the mathematics&physics part.
I'm aiming towards a subspace-style game (http://en.wikipedia....ce_(video_game)) though purely singleplayer instead of multiplayer. For the physics this basically means asteroids style movement with added scrolling. I thought I'd be able to find information about this pretty easily but so far I've had no luck! Could anyone point me in the right direction for some tutorials?
Thanks in advance!!
