It's one of the best multiplayer FPSs I've ever played, if not the best. I don't feel that the reviewer captured one of the most important parts of the game: The feeling. The feeling of evading a pulse rifle with wall jumping and zigzagging and then biting a humans face off, or throwing off a grenade right into the aliens egg cluster while 4 tyrants (biggest alien in the game) are chasing you through the corridor... or when the aliens think they've finished you off and start writing "gg" while you're building a new base on the maintenance pipes on arachnid map. Well, that feeling is incomparable, it's a pure crystallized form of win and awesome.

The game heavily relies on teamwork but there's a lot of room for individual skill too, it strikes a perfect balance between these two. This game has something for both those who are used to death matches and those who prefer teambased games. Individualistic killwhoring maniacs who ignore the win conditions of this game (killing the enemy base) and just shoot alien for fun: sure, the team eagle scout who always works together with other people towards completing the objective: yes, kamikaze suicidal bomb runners: Hell yes, the unappreciated mastermind architect of the base, who spent the last two hours placing the turrets perfectly so that no alien could jump over them: yep, poor unappreciated bastard.

Some people "meh" at this game, but many of my best computer game moments were with this game.
