I've just beaten Fate by Numbers and liked it very much.
I loved the actings and the overall atmosphere of the film noir and sci-fi mixture. 3D renders looked very nice, the hint system was inspiring.
The negative points that I could point were:
*FMV's would look better if the lighting of the acting videos and the renders were concordant. There are some scenes that the lighting directions through the actors are the opposite way to the ones that illuminate the background objects. And there were several pixeled videos, which I think to be the resizing of the acting videos.
*I couldn't find a subtitles option. It could be helpful for people who aren't familiar to English listening.
*The dystopia of the game setting could be told to the players better. I'd add some side stories those are telling why that system can't make people happy here.
