Here's a topic to show off your country in pictures. The idea is that you show different sides from your country, the more the better.

One rule: Don't post negative images without also posting positive ones.

First out:

Norway.

I'm gonna start in the south-west and move up the west coast before returning to the south east. One thing you'll notice is how the landscape changes, from the flat SW, to the fjords on the west coast, to flatter mountains further north to flat again way up north.

Ok, this selection makes Norway look like a country with a population of about a dozen and it's almost true. 4,6 million isn't enough to fill a train in other countries but that's how it is. The topography limits the possibilities as to where to found cities and the cold winters and poor underwear limits our reproductional abilities. Most people here live in or near the few larger cities/towns, or they wish they did ^_^ The rest are scattered around in the rural districts. Not gonna write a whole lot more, these are just a few words.

So, what's your country like? Wanna share?
I met a goldfish who remembered meeting me before, but I had forgotten about that.

That's very nice. I intend to visit Norway this summer, so perhaps I'll get to experience it first hand.
My country is mostly flat and boring ^_^ - one problem with that is that it's completely impossible to get any overview without taking to the skies.
Oh well, I'll start with some images of Frisia, where I was born, and Groningen, where I live at the moment.

And some more.

It's fairly typically Dutch. Why don't you show something, Russ? ^_^
