It's not the time-limit, it's the vote-system that needs some tweaking... well the entire game needs tweaking if you want to change it from an RPG-game to a deduction-game... I think there's a reason this started out as a party game played face to face.

True enough, well with the second game can't wait to see if there are any changes going to happen rule-wise, since enjoyed this first game a lot. :bleh: Everyone give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done. *Bows*

Well the Mafia-game (original form of the Werewolf-game) can be changed in many, many ways. The wikipedia article sums up just a few of the possible changes. There are many different characters to choose add, and each one adds a new level of complexity.

Well, I don't necessarily want to change it. As I said, it seems that everybody enjoyed the roleplaying aspects, so tweaking the game towards enhancing that might be a good idea. Feel free to put forward any suggestions you might have.

I already have a perfectly good set of rules for a pure deduction game, which were worked out by a guy named Alex Rockwell. These rules have been tested many times, and should work well. I'd like to start a game following them at some point.
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.

We could give it a try, it's obvious that would please you a great deal. Consider it a christmas gift  :bleh:

We could try it out and see how it works out and if doesn't drop em for the 3rd game round, now question is same time period for next game, or advance it a bit to more modern times.  :bleh:

Well, yeah, I'd like to try it. If for nothing else, then to show an alternative way to play the game. I won't have time to do it untill next week, though, so if people want to play right away, I suggest starting another game now, and saving this one.

Edit: also there's a drawback to the game I'm proposing: it's for five players only (plus one mod, of course), which means that some people might be left out. But if anyone wants to mod another game (possibly similar to the one we've just played), I'd be happy to participate in that one. :bleh:

Guess it comes down to another vote, why am I not surprised. :D Personally I'm cool with waiting it out or starting right away, doesn't really matter to me. :bleh:

I think the people that were left out of the first game should be allowed to join the second one first.

Ooh if that's the case may be best to hold off on it, cause yeah there was quite a bit of interest from others to join in so maybe for the second game give them that chance.

That's true. So does anyone else want to take a stab at modding a game? I would like to try to play in one, so I'd rather not mod, unless no one else will.

And what about setting, rules, roles, etc? I guess the roles, at least, will have to depend somewhat on the number of players.
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.
