The award was for Taikara, but for stupidity above and beyond the call of duty, you get one too.

:) Erm, yes. I know the mental reward was for Taikara...You gave her a reward, and I gave her a picture to go along with it...Thought it'd be funny to use a UN medal.

I'm not stupid  ;)

Whoops... well you can have a mental medal too.

The idea is that she and you have to like invent an awesome trophy in your heads.

28mb? It's not going to take that long, is it?

I didn't see that...  It looked like a large game.

Its small size's even mentioned in the review :) The middle of the third paragraph:

For a game that is only 20 megabytes, Cube is pretty.

Yeah that's also a good feature happy to see a nice smallish FPS game like this, not too big and still looks kick *** to play.

I personally think my custom titlepic based loosely on the in-game menus was a nice touch ;)

Of course, with my rather screwy monitor with its even more screwy gamma, it was a bit too dark for me to do much more than stumble around going, "Huh?" ;)
I'm sure you've already tried this, but just to make sure: Press Esc in-game, select Tweaking, then Gamma Correction. That should help...

Time for me to stop with this game, cause I'm getting seasick (just like with alot of FPS games :) )

I had to be in the in-game menu in order to base the titlepic on the in-game menu ;)

Why do you think I was there? ;)

(well, besides trying to find a titlescreen to use)  :)

There is no hope for my monitor  ;)

Fortunately, I can by this time fairly well guesstimate how things will look when working in PS... but I still occasionally need to ask a second opinion ;)

Ok, now add a non-adventure game that doesn't take a hundred million gazillion hours to download AND doesn't crash when I try to run it.

I don't really think that it will take all of those overstated and childish hours to download and also, try looking at the readme for tips on how to run it.

I thought cube isn't a game but just an engine with maps and bots that are demonstration of what engine can do...
Oh well...

DakaSha:if you go into a kindergarden and give all the kids rubber schlongs they will prob just hit each other over the head with them
DakaSha:and you have a class of little kids hitting eachother with rubber dongs which must be quite funny (also Picklweasel knight I am)
