Again, it's my name.  I decided to make Havell the focus, instead of Richard, as my friends call me Havell.  It suits my personality far more than Richard does.

DakaSha was a leading character in a fantasy "novel" that i was planning on writing... never did finish the bastard though :bleh:

The village he was from combined the first and last name (original huh? :D hey i was only 17 or so) and there was a chapter commited to the origin of the names the people had in the village. thats the reason for the capatalized S

anyways i cant remember when i started using it as a nick... i just started somewhere for some reason and kept it because i like the sound.

and my real name is:

Jesse Ray Purdy... Im so going to become a film star because of that name :w00t:

:bleh: Seeing as Richard doubles for male genital I'd say Richie boy is much more suitable :D

Edit: That should read D_ick. If anybody is offended by that word say so and it'll be removed!

Heh. Sounds like a Southern American child singer, that. :bleh:

Mine was something I came up with during the BSE crisis we had over here, when beef on the bone was supposed to be more risky than other beef for some reason because I'm clearly a bit mad (not really a cow, mind...) and I thought it was nice and distinctive (It's nothing but me if you google it as one word). The second B gets a capital because it makes the words clearer and I like the shape of it.
I originally used it to post on the official forums for Total Annihilation, then it got retired in favour of Charlie when people started calling me that at college (Charlie is still the name of my PC and my iPod, although that's been replaced by a Sony Vaio Pocket - nice hardware, useless software :D), but I went back to using BeefontheBone when I started playing UT2004 and joined a clan of sorts called XyZ.

You're not expecting me to come up with an interesting explanation, are you?:bleh: A. J. Raffles is a gentleman thief and the main character of a bunch of short stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle's brother-in-law during the early 20th century. That's why I called my first ever RPG character (who happened to be a thief) A. J. Raffles.

Okay, my real first name is Jani and as there was too many with same name and as I was youngest, I was called Juniori. Then one christmas my friend changed his nick in IRC to x-mas|whatever-his-nick-was and I, hating x-mas, wanted to oppose him. So I changed mine to Juni Ori, as Juni refers to June, when happens to be my birthday. And that Ori is finnish and means Stud... :bleh:

In all honesty I don't quite remember where my nickname comes from, I remember thinking up the nickname Strogannov once (which was not inspired by the recipe bearing nearly the exact same name) but everyone called me Stroggy. I guess it stuck... that and I am terrible at thinking up names so i just stuck with Strog or Stroggy.
