I can fit it in my tight schedule of loafing around. So I could review it.  Once I get home that is.

This is a great game!

Why didn't I find this before?

Post in the multiplayer forum, it's easier to discuss there. I would be willing to host if enough people join.

So, is the "project" of creating a host for AR still going, or was it just a dream? I'd be really interested to join such a server if it was started up. ;)

I'd say the game is a great alternative to those who can't find Battlezone, but once you get your hands on Battlezone II from some obscure bargain bin, you tend to forget about Savage.

You can impeach the bad ones. But when you have a good one, man does the game get going. I was playing on a server with a total of 50+ people. It was no battle. It was a war! It was great though, everyone had fun.

Your commanders can be annoying though, we had one that would just box us up with useless structures.

You know, I absolutely LOVE this game. This game is probably the best RTS/RTSS I have ever played. The commander mode, which you use to setup building sites and such reminds me of Starcraft or that game Dawn of War. Then there is the unit mode, where you are a lone unit doing what your commander says, or freelancing, whether you are scouting, building, repairing, healing, or my favorite, fighting, it's all good fun. Tons of servers and they range from 2 or 3 people joined to nearly 30. There are different races, each race has 5 or 6 classes, and availible to most of the classes are 9(correct me if I'm wrong) different ranged weapons, and of course the usual melee weapon. Community doesn't seem to bad either, when I've asked for help I always receive an answer. Account making was instant and easy as well. If you see a guy named RyMan, that's me :max:

I reccomend this to everyone, there is much fun to have with this game. Here's to having fun! :ok:

Don't think so, it's primarily aimed at playing online though that's my point.
