I have neither the time nor the money to spend on World of Warcraft. The concept doesn't much interest me much, either. I am always reluctant in trusting games in which my gameplay-experience depends partially on other humans.

All in all, the game is dangerous. I heard about a Korean guy playing non-stop for maybe two days or so . . . and when he got up from the chair he fell down and had a heart atack. They should put some kind of a warning on the WOW boxes for people with a weak heart...

Watch Pure Pwnage for a fictional, but possibly accurate showing of what it does to people.

Thanks for repeating what I thought was a doubtful compliment to begin with, but you're quite right, of course.:D

So to conclude, WoW is too much a waste of money to play...

Anarchy Online is a very good MMORPG. Go try that it's free!

I've only stopped because I need somebody to take my character somwhere. With my RAM it'll take about an hour or two. Somebody else could do it in 5 minutes and earn themeselves 30k
Ew.
Anarchy Online, blech, and it is sorta buttgy...I found one that got me like 200k for one kill of this monster...

What's so confusing about that? Anyway, let's try to keep this on topic. If you'd like to have a chat about how great a place Oxford is, feel free to PM me, Sean, but this is supposed to be about MMPO[insert random bunch of letters here]Gs, really.
A friend of mine played Everquest for a year or so, together with her boyfriend. They "only" played for about 2-3 hours a day, but it was a little disturbing how much it affected my friend's life ("Sorry, I won't be able to make it tomorrow, I need to wait for [some monster] to respawn so I can finally get that quest item."). One day they decided it was just costing them far too much time, so they stopped and sold their characters on eBay for a few hundred Euro, and they've never regretted it.

Its not so bad you only hear bad stories about it and some people aren't qualifide too play video games, but i have seen people ruining their lives over that game, but i dont think that is a good enough reason to bann it , i mean why dont we ban cigaretts too and alcahol, and cpu, and medication ,guns?,knifes?
