Sorries about the huge maiden pic, it was obviously to show the brilliance of the great cover art. :) Which you can't see now! :ot: kidding kidding, thanks AJ for fixing it. :D

It doesn't necessairly have to be favourites, but it can be cd's from your collection that stand out in some way, or throw in terrible cover arts too if you want, keep em small should be good. :P

Like this terrible cover art by Maiden *cringes*

Mmm what a tacky cover. Standard 80's computer generated crap, really. What a shame.

Well I mean look at the old Iron Maiden covers, especially brave new world which is probably one of their best, even their 80's covers are better than this, seriously it looks like they used powerpoint to make it. :ot:

Like this one classic cover, ignore the calendar part, wanted to get a good sized image to express it. :)

Well Tom if you look at my first post and his first post you'll see 3 bands that are clearly not Iron Maiden. :ot:

Iron Madien is an influental band for both of us, only natural we have our likes for it.

Here I'll even post another good CD Cover from Iced Earth once I resize it. :)

Here it is:

It sure feels like it's Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden, Dream Theatre and Iron Maiden, though... What are the other 28 or 38, then, if you don't mind my asking?:P

There's something about those metal album covers (Maiden are completely typical of the ones I'm thinking of) that really turns me off - they're just so ... naff. Megadeath have to be the worst offenders in the mainstream that I can think of.

I never really understood that Pink Floyd cover, but it's a neat photograph.
Oooh, I'd like to mention the covers of the first two Garbage albums - gloriously simple idea, that - "Let's just take closeup photos of Shirley's outfits!"

Yeah, it's a shot of the jumpsuity thing she's wearing on the sleeve photos, and the first album is a shot of that pink feather boa.
