I was wondering if there was any way that you might consider linking to the Thief 2 fan expansion entitled "Shadows of the Metal Age" as well as Black Cat Games moddings of UT (Thievery) and UT 2004 (Nightblade). I know that these aren't proper games because they need you to own copies of other games to play, but they are self contained. I also know that they're way too huge for you to consider hosting them yourself, but giving links to these projects might not hurt.

Your pardon, I thought I'd ask before I posted the links .
Shadows of the Metal Age is best obtained via bittorrent:
http://thiefmissions.../info.cgi?m=T2X
with the best information found on Through the Looking Glass Forums:
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/
(the sight that used to have information seems to have disappeared)
Black Cat Games can be found here:
http://www.blackcatgames.com/
Again, I didn't post these links because the ones from Black Cat are total conversion mods and Shadows of the Metal Age requires you to have the Thief II in the drive, and didn't see any on-site policy about posting TC mods.
*edit: Thief-Thecircle has a review of SotMA here:

I'm not really sure what the policy towards total conversions are either. I did post one tc in the projects in the making forum, though, but I don't know if we'll actually put them on the site (or link to them).
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.

Well, they're not freeware in the sense that a commercial product is required, so they won't get reviews and/or hosting, but there's no harm whatsoever in discussing them in the forum - in the Favourite Games section rather than Requests though. I'd move this but I'm not able to, so an admin will have to later.
