Just because it makes no sense, it's probarly worth plaeying.

I haven't played the game but I have to ask: how exactly is said eyeball wielding this supposed paintbrush?

Well, he doesn't have any hands or anything, but since it's a magic paintbrush it appears just to float about. "Wielding" was a bit more concise
