This thread's for those interested to learn AI, but lack the very basic principles of it. It's a list of online references, much like the programming tutorials list. Well... some're pretty advanced (especially the Goertzel links), but that's for people who're past the basics.

AI Depot's tutorials
Amit's Thoughts On Pathfinding And A*
Comp.AI.Games FAQ
Justin Heyes-Jones' A* Tutorial
AI On The Web
Ben Goertzel's Site
Structure Of Intelligence: A New Mathematical Model of Mind (Ben Goertzel)
AI Open Directory

If I find more or if anybody else can provide more, I'll gladly add them.

With these links in a sticky, you can safely delete my topic, since both of those are in your list as well (no coincidence probably) :)

try to find

Russell, S.J., Norvig, P., Artificial Intelligence A Modern Approach, Prentice Hall, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, 1996

it's one of the best books in AI ... many ideas and principles are based on this book
