Daggerfall is a neat game with lots of messed up stuff here and there (and a host of planned features that were sadly never completed). Not having played it back when it came out, I haven't yet dared to play the full version (it's sure bound to consume more time than I can afford ATM), but I've tried the CGW-exclusive Betony demo - lots of fun but tends to get rather repetitive, and is noticeably buggy (adds to the challenge though! ). I'd say Theodor Lauppert in his review outlined all the pros and cons of of the game fairly well.
Also, a great source of info about Daggerfall is the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages Wiki.

It's actually listed in our Games That Need Review section.
It's a good suggestion about Panthro, but we'd rather have an orginal review that was written for us, rather than using one that's already been shown. Are you interested in writing one for us?

The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
(1996) by Bethesda Softworks
Surprisingly, no one seems to have mentioned that its been freeware since 2009.
Daggerfall was the second game in the (now very popular) "Elder Scrolls" series.
The first game "TES: Arena" is also free, and already has a review on this site.

P.S. Maybe you could ask Panthroif he would be willing to post his review on Reloaded.
Edit: Thread title mistake, should be "II" not "Ii".
