Opensource clone of Colonization programmed in Java. Their goal is to remain true to the original up to version 1.0.0, with updated graphics and muliplayer, then add new features.
Current version is 0.3 and is playable but a lot of features aren't implemented like AI. The 0.4 version should be coming out shortly.

FreeCol Release Candidate 0.4 released so if you feel like doing some beta testing get a copy. Adds AI for the natives and interaction with native villages.

0.7.0 available since 13.7. Apparently it has improved a lot. Downloading it now.
