Updating reviews for games that are in continuous development is something we've been considering for a while, but it's difficult to find a good way to implement it.

I think it would be good if we could add a "Version" input field that would require we enter that information during an update, for a start - if a game is in continuous development, we could give a version number, and list it as "Final" if it is no longer in development. Then, we would at least have a good idea whether a game needs to be watched for updates just by glancing at the page, and we could set up a "reporting" script that could generate a list of those games from the database, which would be even better.

That's the "easy" part - the difficult part is deciding how to update the reviews. It would be best if the individual reviewer could be contacted to update his original review (or do so on his own), but in some cases (such as with Noctis), this would mean a lot of work for little benefit to the reviewer.

On the other hand, we could add sections to the review to include version update info, but again in some cases, this would become unwieldy and difficult to keep track of.

Finally, we could request entirely new reviews for games that have had considerable changes from the version on our site compared to the latest release, and just replace the old review with a new one - but that's kind of disrespectful to the original reviewer, if he isn't the person who has written the new review.

Regardless, I think it would be best to start with including the version information as part of an update - as that would give an obvious reason for any discrepancies between the review on AR and the current downloadable version of the game to anyone viewing the game's page.
