DD ;) Actually it's national phenomenon and even still I'm not even nearly obsessed as you are about some bands!

Frodo :P I was searching for Blackmoore's Night from YouTube just moments before I saw your post! :tai: Candice Night is of my favorite woman vocalists. (First is of course Tarja Turunen :D )

Quick edit: Of course I have to mention that Ritchie is one of my favorite guitarists. What's wrong with Germans anyway? Can't even spell Blackmoore. And here's more Blackmoore's Night...

Think time to really change it up, here's Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and John Petrucci performing some Hendrix (and some improvisation as well) with Foxy Lady.

I don't have a link yet but the guy in front of me at KMFDM's show last saturday was bootlegging the whole thing on his camcorder/camera device.  Security was viciously booting people left, right and center yet somehow this guy never got caught....once I find the link, I'll post.

Link notwithstanding, better than last year's performance (same venue).  Probably the best set they could put together covering favorites from way back to their most recent album.  My only regret is that KMFDM never plays MDFMK material (which I rather enjoyed) for legal (and probably philosophical) reasons.

Phenomenal live performance.  Totally worth three hours of crap beforehand.  Incidentally, the sheer number of hot (and alterna-hot) women at KMFDM (and the like) shows never ceases to amaze me.  The only genuinely creepy moment was when this drunken guy staggered up to me and my buddy, slurred something unintelligble while pointing at my chest and then dragged his shirt down (yikes!) to reveal a tatoo of the Cobra emblem from GI Joe.  That's the sort of strange crap that happens to me when I wear my Crimson Guard Tee in public.

should have worn my Div shirt....

Keeping it going with some more Maiden, revelations from Rock AM Ring 2003, and the band even speeds the song up in a few parts, craziness.

I saw Lordi last night in Birmingham and they were incredible.

Each song had a different series of set pieces with various props and costumes and a whole different feel created with the set and lighting.  Even in the rubber suit Lordi (the lead singer, not the band) had huge charisma and stage presence, I was about three metres away from him the whole time.  The supporting band that tours with them was good too.

I'd really adcise seeing them if you get the chance.

Now for some Rob Halford (Of Judas Priest fame) this vid taken from Rock in Rio 2001, is called Silent Screams, the dvd is going to be released in november at some point believe I read, and all his "Halford" albums will be remastered too, been listening to some of his solo work under the Halford name and definitely going to check it out at some point.

Changing it up a bit with some Nevermore, this song is called Born, from the Wacken Festival this past year, best version could find, since couldn't find the gigantour performance of it, which sounds a bit better.

Ramones Live Rainbow Theatre London (New year's eve 1977)
One of the greatest shows in the 70s was captured on film. I only managed to find one clip, but it seems the whole show will be released on DVD one of these days. The concert was also recorded and released as the "It's Alive" album, my all time fav live album by any band.

(ok, the sound is messed up in the early part, but still)

Of course there is this clip of AC/DC in their hey-days. I believe it's from the "Let There Be Rock" movie.

Finally found a somewhat decent Kamelot live clip, vocals are a bit drowned out, but looks not bad, this is called When The Lights Are Down. Once their DVD hits North America on the 21st of this month there will be much more to showcase. :bleh:
