In my opinion, the single greatest piece of freeware to hit the web, and now it's standalone. Great graphics, maps, and gameplay similar to counter-strike.

I've seen this before, but it was in so early stages I thought I'll come back to it later. Surprise surprise: never remembered... I guess I'll have a look of this.

I tried to get this to work, but it didn't. Perhaps another time when I have the time to re-download the stuff.

this is cool. alot better than ET or counterstrike in my opinion.

@ryguy... you need to download enemy territory... the newest patch, true combat and its newest ppatch. otherwise it wont work

I did. I couldn't find something to open TC:E and when I tried running ET normally, it said I had the wrong version when I tried to connect to servers.

@ryguy. you did something wrong probably. like i said its 4 downloads altogether make sure you have themn all and have installed them all

Yeah I had them all, but I'll try it some other time. While it may seem fast to you, 30 minutes of downloads is a pain in the neck for me.

So why is this in the request thread if it's a mod? I tought this site only hosts freeware games not mods. And if this is a mod, then by the same logic couldn't CS be added too, since they are free too(atleast some versions), or garry's mod for example?

Well not anymore. That is true alas since this is a mod, and since ya need Enemy Territory to play it, won't be going up.

CS was freeware in the mod sort of sense, dang sleepiness me saying it was never freeware.

Well TC:E Is a freeware mod for a freeware game. Could it not go up in a sub-section? I mean it is action, just it's a modification.

At this point in time, unfortunately won't be going up. In the end still a modification for another game, and since we don't host mods here, thats the way it is.

However, may look into this further, since the game in question is freeware, so we'll see.
