Doesn't anybody read through the reviews before they're uploaded?
Sounds like it's written by someone who was extremely high at the moment.

I thought this site had the aim of becoming a quality site. That's hard to achieve with reviews like this one.

Puffin, I've straightened out the syntax a bit, as I assume that's what you meant, but next time it would be helpful if you could be a little more specific in your criticism, i.e. if you could say what exactly bothers you about the review. And do try to remain polite even if you are justified in your criticism. Even if you think a review is utter rubbish, that's not a reason to accuse the reviewer of having been "extremely high". No reason to hurt other people's feelings needlessly, is there?

I never accused him of being high, I said it sounds like he was high.

His native language is English, right?
English is my third language. It's funny that this quality site gets comment about errors in reviews from someone whose third language is englsih.

I'll only mention some things I remember off the top of my head.

1)

Quote

Bit cheap some enemies
- okay, I get the point. AFTER reading through the review. Even the sentence in the review itself,

Quote

the enemies can be cheap in this game
, is a bit odd.

2)

Quote

Requirements:
Windows least P2
processor recommended

Processor reccomended? You don't say, Sherlock!
I assume it was meant as:

Requirements:
Windows, at least SP2
processor recommended

^still odd

or

Requirements:
Windows
At least P2 processor recommended.

My bet is on the latter option. Should be fixed.

Then I see the review has been edited. It was worse than my 8th grade English essays. I started English in 7th grade.
And I wasn't being harsh. I was asking if the reviews were read over before uploaded, and pointing out that this review isn't really what the general crowd calls quality.

I noticed a lot of typos in this aswell. Didn't bother me much though. And the
Requirements:
Windows least P2
processor recommended.

It makes perfect sense. It would be like(no more room on this line)
this.

About the game. I might try this out when I have my game started out. I need a book on C++...

Makes sense?

Wouldn't it be

Windows
At least P2
processor recommended

if it was a matter of space? The P2 processor has nothing to do with the Windows factor.

Typos? Oops, must have missed some...:bleh:
That processor thing was probably just a line break in the wrong place; thanks for pointing it out.
Anyway, guys, all of your suggestions for improvements are appreciated, of course, but it'll be easier if you either make a post in the Reporting Typos thread or just PM me (or any other crew member, for that matter) to point out mistakes in a review. That way, we'll be able to fix mistakes, but the game discussion thread itself won't turn into a discussion about the faults of the review.

Is there a grammar squad for this? It can be hard for people to spellcheck their own reviews, although I do have to agree that the initial review was stuffed with typos.

SPELL CHECK TO THE RESCUE. The game is cool, the damage calculation is way off. As stated in the review. You lose half of your health when you hit the ground, come on, it's not that painful, and it's not like it hurts more than being punched to death by a member of the village people(the big guys xD).

We don't have a separate grammar squad on AR, but since three crew members also happen to be AB grammar squaddies, we'll work out a solution.:bleh:

...

Hmm, just spotted another typo *wanders off to correct it*
