The problem seems to be that in the old version, emoticons were in http://www.reloaded....html/emoticons/ while in the new one they're in http://www.reloaded....ticons/default/ and the upgrade doesn't update the posts. Copying them to the old folder should fix the problem.

you could also just put in a rewrite rule if you use apache to let forum/html/emoticons/ translate as forum/style_emoticons/default/

Umm.. The Shoutbox doesn't seem to work on Opera.. At least not on my Opera. It's some very old version, can't remember which right now.
If you're not logged in, it works. It shows the messages, but you of course can't write anything. But when you log in, it gets stuck on the initializing part and never shows the messages.
As I said, it is an old version of the browser. Might work on a new one. I'm not upgrading, though, the new versions of Opera suck.

For some reason it seems that clicking smiley and add comment (or whatever it was) doesn't work, but writing or clicking and pressing enter works fine... Strange?

Okay (sorry 2post), as I've had few days to get used this new outlook, I have to say it is better! Some small detail improvements that makes using the forums easier and enjoyable. Plus I like the looks of it in general!
