Thursday is the final day of E3. We'll see last minute announcements, details, screens, etc. After Thursday's news is posted, we'll do a wrap-up. And.. I'll be rating & awarding the best and worst of E3. Stay tuned.

On a note about Watch Dogs.. a quote from the developers..

The first thing is you need a talented team. We got that. We need time. We've had that; we've been working on this for a good two years and we're not shipping this year for sure. So we have a lot of time where we're able to put a lot of details in the game.

Watch Dogs is not being released this year? Damn. Why tease us.. then just let us down with a somewhat far off release date? I was hoping for a fall or winter release of this year.

Game of the Show: Watch Dogs
This unexpected wonder not only showed off next-gen graphics on current gen consoles, but it finally shows us a mature open storyline in a massive world. Changing traffic signals to cause an accident, and stop your target? That's a possibility in Watch Dogs. Ubisoft stunned the show with this game, and now a community of gamers is growing. We want Watch Dogs. No other game was showed off in a demo quite like Watch Dogs. It was cinema quality. All these reasons make Watch Dogs, the game of the show.

Assassins Creed 3. Watch Dogs. That's reason enough to give Ubisoft the Company of the Show award. Not only was Ubisoft's press conference the most interesting, but they showed off their games perfectly. Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft.. learn from Ubisoft.

Worst Conference of the Show: Sony
First off, Sony showed us hardly anything exciting. Even nothing about the Playstation 4. And with rumors swirling of Sony's big announcement regarding cloud gaming, we saw nothing of the kind at Sony's conference. Nothing new exciting on the gaming front, or the hardware front. It was lackluster at best.

Best Conference of the Show: Tie between Ubisoft and Nintendo
Ubisoft for all the reasons above. Meanwhile Nintendo was the best among it's competition from Microsoft and Sony. From NintendoLand, to Arkham City Wii U, Nintendo surprised us with some great games, and at least some minor hardware talk.

Best Family Game of the Show: Lego Lord of the Rings
Even though we did not see much from Lego LOTR at E3, we continue to look forward to this epic game. From the addition of voice acting, to all of the trilogy films being featured in the game.. Lego Lord of the Rings looks great.

Games We Did Not See at E3: GTA V, Mafia III, Arkham 3.
GTA is not much of a surprise. We hoped for Mafia III. But Arkham, is the shocker. Where was even a slight teaser at the next Arkham game? Not even a mention of it. Arkham 3 for now, remains a mystery.

We knew we'd see some of AC3. Naval battles. Inside environments. More assassin battling. Enough said.

OnLive and Sony rumors seem to be false. It seems Sony is watching OnLive, liking what they are doing. But it does appear as if no partnerships or buyouts are in the words.




And with that, Reloaded's Coverage of E3 2012 has come to a close. After deciding last year not to do any more coverage, I was glad to change my mind. This year's coverage was great, and I had fun doing it. There were some disappointments with E3, but also some great surprises. It's been an honor covering the show, and bringing coverage to Reloaded.
